यदि मामप्रतीकारमशस्त्रं शस्त्रपाणयः।
धार्तराष्ट्रा रणे हन्युस्तन्मे क्षेमतरं भवेत्।।१-४६।।

यदि माम् अप्रतीकारम् अशस्त्रं शस्त्र-पाणयः।
धार्तराष्ट्राः रणे हन्युः तत् मे क्षेमतरम् भवेत्।।१-४६।।
श्लोकार्थः
यदि शस्त्र-पाणयः धार्तराष्ट्राः अशस्त्रं अप्रतीकारम्
माम् रणे हन्युः तत् मे क्षेमतरम् भवेत्।
