त्वमादिदेवः पुरुषः पुराणस-् त्वमस्य विश्वस्य परं निधानम् ।
वेत्तासि वेद्यं च परं च धाम त्वया ततं विश्वमनन्तरूप ॥ ११-३८॥
सन्धि विग्रहः
त्वम् आदिदेवः पुरुषः पुराणः त्वम् अस्य विश्वस्य परम् निधानम् ।
वेत्ता असि वेद्यम् च परम् च धाम त्वया ततम् विश्वम् अनन्त-रूप ॥ ११-३८॥
श्लोकार्थः
त्वम् आदिदेवः, पुराणः पुरुषः, त्वम् अस्य विश्वस्य परम्
निधानम्, (त्वम्) वेत्ता च वेद्यम्। परम् धाम ह् चासि ।
हे अनन्त-रूप! त्वया विश्वम् ततम् ।
शब्दार्थः
त्वं = You आदिदेवः = the original Supreme God पुरुषः = personality पुराणः = old त्वं = You अस्य = of this विश्वस्य = universe परं = transcendental निधानं = refuge वेत्त = the knower असि = You are वेद्यं = the knowable च = and परं = transcendental च = and धाम = refuge त्वया = by You ततं = pervaded विश्वं = the universe अनन्तरूप = O unlimited form.
Meaning
11.38: You are the Primal God, the most ancient Purusa (person). You are the Supreme abode of the universe. You are the knower, the knowable, and the supreme refuge. You pervaded this universe, O Infinite Form.
