धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे।।४-८।।

परित्राणाय सादूनाम् विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम्।
धर्म-संस्थापन-अर्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे।।४-८।।

साधूनाम् परित्राणाय, दुष्कृताम् विनाशाय,
धर्म-संस्थापन-अर्थाय च, (अहं) युगे युगे सम्भवामि।

4.8: For the protection of the good and the virtuous, for the destruction of the evildoers or the wicked and for the establishment of righteousness (dharma), I am born from age to age.
