अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम्।
एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम्।।४-४२।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
अथवा योगिनाम् एव कुले भवति धीमताम्।
एतत् हि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यत् ईदृशम्।।६-४२।।
श्लोकार्थः
अथवा धीमताम् योगिनाम् एव कुले भवति, यत् एतत्
ईदृशम् जन्म लोके दुर्लभतरं हि।
शब्दार्थः
6.42 अथवा=or योगिनाम्=of learned transcendentalist एव=certainly कुले=in the family भवति=takes birthधीमताम्=of those who are endowed with great wisdom एतत्=this हि=certainly दुर्लभतरं=very rareलोके=in this world जन्म=birth यत्=that which ईदृशम्like this

6.42: Or such a yogi takes his birth in the family of yogins endowed with great wisdom; a birth like this is very rare indeed in this world.
