सञ्जय उवाच।
एवमुक्तो हृषीकेशो गुडाकेशेन भारत।
सेनयोरुभयोर्मध्ये स्थापयेत्वा रथोत्तमम्।।१-२४।।
भीष्मद्रोणप्रमुखतः सर्वेषां च महीक्षिताम्।
उवाच पार्थ पश्यैतान्समवेतान्कुरूनिति।।१-२५।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
सञ्जयः उवाच।
एवम् उक्तः हृषीकेशः गुडाकेशेन भारत।
सेनयोः उभयोः मध्ये स्थापयेत्वा रथ-उत्तमम्।।१-२४।।
भीष्म-द्रोण-प्रमुखतः सर्वेषाम् च मही-क्षिताम्।
उवाच पार्थ पश्य-एतान् समवेतान् कुरून् इति।।१-२५।।
श्लोकार्थः
सञ्जयः उवाच।
हे भारत! एवम् गुडाकेशेन उक्तः हृषीकेशः, उभयोः सेनयोः मध्ये,
भीष्म-द्रोण-प्रमुखतः सर्वेषाम् च मही-क्षिताम्
रथ-उत्तमम् स्थापयेत्वा, ‘हे पार्थ! एतान् समवेतान् कुरून्
पश्य’, इति उवाच।

Sanjaya said:
1.24: O Bharata (Dhrtarāstra), having been addressed by Gudakesana (Arjuna), Hrsikesa (Lord Krishna) placed the best of chariots in the midst of both armies.
1.25: Facing Bhisma, Drona, and all great chiefs (the Lord) said to Partha thus: Behold (all of) the Kurus gathered.
