तस्मान्नारहा वयं हन्तुं धार्तराष्ट्रान्स्वबानधवान्।
सवजनं हि कथं हत्वा सुखिनः स्याम माधव।।१-३७।।

तस्मात् न अर्हाः वयम् हन्तुम् धार्तराष्ट्रान् स्वबान्धवान्।
स्वजनम् हि कथम् हत्वा सुखिनः स्याम माधव।।१-३७।।
श्लोकार्थः
हे माधव! तस्मात् स्वबान्धवान् धार्तराष्ट्रान्
हन्तुम् वयम् न अर्हाः। हि स्वजनम् हत्वा (वयम्) कथम्
सुखिनः सयाम?।।१-३७।।
