विषादप्यमृतं ग्राह्यं बालादपि सुभाषितम्।
अमित्रादपि सद्वृत्तं अमेध्यादपि कांचनम्॥
भावार्थ – विष से भी मिले तो अमृत को स्वीकार करना चाहिए, छोटे बच्चे से भी मिले तो सुभाषित (अच्छी सीख) को स्वीकार करना चाहिए, शत्रु से भी मिले तो अच्छे गुण को स्वीकार करना चाहिए और गंदगी से भी मिले तो सोने को स्वीकार करना चाहिए।
