कथम् means how?
सम्यक् means good, perfect, accurate.
Note:
These are avyayas. These can be used irrespective of Gender, Number, Vibhakti.
Usage:
भवतः आरोग्यम् कथम् अस्ति? – How is your health?
अहं सम्यक् अस्मि| – I am good.
ग्रन्थालयः कथम् अस्ति? – How is the library?
ग्रन्थालयः सम्यक् अस्ति| – The library is perfect as expected.
मार्गः कथम् अस्ति? – How is the road?
मार्गः सम्यक् नास्ति| – The road is not good.
वाटिका कथम् अस्ति? – How is the park?
वाटिका सम्यक् अस्ति| – The park is good.
फलानि कथम् सन्ति? – How are the fruits?
फलानि सम्यक् सन्ति| – The fruits are good.
बालकः कथं धावति? – How does the boy run?
बालिका कथं रोदिति? – How does the girl cry?
