गोमहिष्यादिन्यायः
The maxim has its origin in this that the cows give milk, as well as the buffalos give milk, but there is a vast difference in the quality of these two kinds of milk. It is used to denote that the individual objects falling under one general class are not alike in every respect but have many peculiarities especial only to them.
