मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं
जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम् ।
वातात्मजं वानरयूथमुख्यं
श्रीरामदूतं शिरसा नमामि ॥
Meaning:
I prostrate to the lord Hanuman the son of wind God, who is swift like the mind and wind, mastered the senses, intellect, foremost among the vAnarAs or monkeys and the devotee of Lord Rama.
