Subhashitam – 15

धूमेनावृयते वह्निर्यथादर्शो मलेन च ।
यथोल्बेनावृतो गर्भस्तथा तेनेदमावृतम् ॥

Meaning:
As a flame is covered by smoke, mirror by dirt and embryo by the amnion, so is knowledge covered by desire.
