पङ्कैर्विना सरो भाति सदः खलजनैर्विना ।Meaning:
कटुवर्णर्विना काव्यं मानसं विषयैर्विना ॥
A lake without mire (mud), a meeting without fools and wicked persons, a kAvya (an epic) without harsh words and the mind without wordly pleasures shine well in the world.
