आलस्यं मदमोहौ च चापलं गूष्टिरेव च
स्तब्धता चाभिमानित्वं तथाऽत्यागित्वमेव च ।
एते वै सप्त दोषाः स्युः सदा विद्यार्थिनां मताः ॥
Meaning:
Laziness, pride, ignorance, fickle mindedness, talking to each other (gossiping), idleness, possessive altitude are the seven drawbacks found in students.
