श्रीभगवानुवाच।
अक्षरं ब्रह्म परमं स्वभावोऽध्यात्ममुच्यते।
भूतभावोद्भवकरो विसर्गः कर्मसंज्ञितः।।८-३।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
श्रीभगवान् उवाच।
अक्षरम् ब्रह्म परमम् स्वभावः अध्यात्मम् उच्यते।
भूत-भाव-उद्भव-करः विसर्गः कर्म-संज्ञितः।।८-३।।
श्लोकार्थः
अक्षरम् परमम् ब्रह्म, स्वभावः अध्यात्मम् उच्यते,
भूत-भाव-उद्भव-करः विसर्गः कर्म-संज्ञितः।

Meaning
8.3: Sri Bhagavan said: Brahman is supreme and imperishable; Its nature is (declared as that) of the Self; and Karma is the name for the creative force that makes visible all living material beings.
