श्रीभगवानुवाच।
इमं विवस्वते योगं प्रोक्तवानहमव्ययम्।
विवस्वान्मनवे प्राह मनुरिक्ष्वाकवेऽब्रवीत्।।४-१।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
इमम् विवस्वते योगम् प्रोक्तवान् अहम् अव्ययम्।
विवस्वान् मनवे प्राह मनुः इ्क्ष्वाकवे अब्रवीत्।।४-१।।
श्लोकार्थः
अहम् इमम् अव्ययम् योगम् विवस्वते प्रोक्तवान्।
विवस्वान् मनवे प्राह। मनुः इक्ष्वाकवे अब्रवीत्।

4.1: Sri Bhagavan said: I taught this imperishable yoga to Vivasvat; Vivasvat passed this on to Manu; Manu taught Iksvāku.
